What most people don’t know about me is I have a rare form of muscular dystrophy. Every year people with muscular dystrophy from across the globe come to a conference in Iowa City, Iowa. This year I was not only lucky enough to have a chance to make the shirt for the conference, but I also happened to win the competition for best design. These t-shirts are given out to every person that attends the conference so this was a very big spark in my graphic design career. It was a truly inspiring moment to see many smiling faces wear my t-shirt.
